01/05/1987The first Society day is held at Addington Palace and our 9 footballers play 36 holes singles Stableford
09/09/1987It's Morning Stableford and Afternoon Texas Scramble now at our 2nd golf day held at Lullingstone Park. and will remain that way for a long time.
16/05/1988In glorious weather Richard Frampton scores 47 points but only wins by one point as half the field play under handicap. 3rd gold day held at Coulsdon Court.
20/09/1988First Matchplay competition with 16 entrants. Competition runs for 34 years the last being played in 2012.
01/05/1989We have 33 players for our Autumn golf day at Edenbridge and 7th event.
14/09/1990Robin Dyson wins the Members Stableford Trophy for the third time played at Langley Park. Event 16.
18/05/1995The first of 14 summer trips with 2 nights away and 3 rounds of golf played on Dorset. Event 19.
19/07/1996Mark Staples shoots a gross 73 off 12 for a net 9 under par at Canford Magna. Event 19.
20/07/1996Al Nawrocki wins at Singing Hills in May 1997 retaining the Stableford Trophy he previously won in Sept 1996, the first player to do so. Event 21
19/05/1997In the summer of 1997 to celebrate our 10th year we play 3 rounds in the midlands with 2 rounds at the Belfry. Event 22.
19/07/1997In 1998 we launch our Winter Stableford competition held at Purley Downs. Event 27. This has been the venue for most of our winter comps.
07/12/1998Paul Simmonds wins our Autumn golf day at Reigate Hill in September 1999 in Event 30 having previously won the Spring golf day at Hindhead in May (Event 28) just 4 months before.
17/09/1999Our Freeserve Website is launched and available for 17 years (before the ISP takes it down in March 2017 as they will no longer support Freeserve addresses)
04/04/2000Mark Staples win his third 36 hole Stableford competition played at Isle of Purbeck GC, in fact 3 wins from 5 comps. Event 33.
07/07/2000In hard wintery conditions Colin Fish gets a hole in one at Traditions golf centre. Event 39.
12/07/2001We launch our new Trophy & Competition for the member with the most blobs, normally held in conjunction with our Spring & Autumn Stableford competitions. First played for at West Kent in Event 40.
20/05/2002Al Nawrocki gets a hole in one at Five Lakes during our 36 hole Summer Stableford. Event 45.
11/07/2003Peter Hopkins wins the Winter Stableford at Selsdon Park (Event 54), and becomes the first players to win all five of our majors: Members Stableford Trophy, 36 hole Stableford Cup, Medal Cup, Matchplay shield and WInter Stableford.
25/02/2006Our 61st event is at Nizels Golf Club and we celebrate 20 years.
21/09/2007Matt Fish scores 44 points off 8 with a level par round at West Surrey. Event 65.
24/09/2008The afternoon format is now reduced to 9 holes when we normally play a 4 club challenge competition. Event 71 played at Bletchingley GC.
14/05/2010Our 61st golf day is held at Hever Castle GC celebrating our 25th birthday. Event 79.
19/09/2012Steve Watson gets his fifth win of the Stablerford Trophy at Surrey Downs and a clean sweep too (Nearest, Longest & Team prizes). Event 81.
16/09/2013Paul Jeanes wins his fifth Stableford Trophy at Tyrrells Wood GC , the 3rd player to reach this milestone. Event 89.
24/05/2016Colin Fish wins at Lingfield Park with the lowest ever winning score of 29 points and on the countback. Event 90.
14/09/2016Steve Watson wins the Winter Stableford for the fifth time in a row. Event 91 played at Purley Downs GC.
31/12/2016Ian Cooper wins the Stableford Trophy by 9 points at Gatton Manor beating Matt Fish's 7 points margin. Event 93.
18/09/2017Puttenham is the first venue for our reduced golf day of just 18 holes. Event 94.
05/09/2018Matt Fish wins his fifth Stableford Trophy the fourth player to do so. 63rd golf day held at Redlibbets golf club and Event 95.
09/09/2018Al Nawrocki wins the Stableford Trophy at Mid Sussex GC some 22 years after his previous win in May 1997. Event 98.

23/12/2019Our golf day at East Sussex (and our 100th event) cant be held due to the pandemic, the first of our main golf days to ever be cancelled. Hopefully it will be held in September
