Event 67 - Spring 2009 - Hampton Court Palace
44th Golf Day held on 15th May 2009
Barry Hough won his second Stableford Trophy with a great round of 37 points. He squeezed home on the countback edging out Ian Pearce. Colin Fish was third just a point behind. Peter Hopkins won the Nearest-the-Pin. It took two attempts as no-one hit the green in the morning round. The winner of the Longest-Drive was Steve Watson. With a field of fifteen the afternoon comp was a scramble and not the usual foursomes. Thanks to a huge putt on the last the winners were Steve Watson, Yasin Lilani and Mike Lunnon.
