Event 63 - Spring 2008 - Pyecombe

42nd Golf Day held on 23rd May 2008

On the lovely Pyecombe course, Peter Hopkins notched up his second victory in the Stableford Trophy. His 37 points gave him a handsome victory over secretary Steve Watson. Barry Hough squeezed into third place on the back six from Paul Jeanes which also gave him the Winners Salver. Barry now leads the Championship by four points. Graham Harris won his first comp with the Society in the Nearest-the-Pin. Colin Fish was one of few who could keep it on the fairway for his second win of the Longest-Drive. Peter Hopkins was victorious in the afternoon winning the foursomes with Matt Fish with a fine 36 points.
