Event 82 - Jan 14 - Purley Downs

14th Winter Golf Day held at Purley Downs Golf Club on 18/1/2014

Dreadful weather for the schedule date meant a cancellation but we were able to host the event some 3 weeks later and the field was down to six including three home players. It was a tale of two three-balls. Our second game found it a bit difficult. David England was the back marker with 4 blobs contributing to his 26. Playing partners Peter Chance & Peter Miles both scored 32. Our first game took all three prizes, Richard Walsh was 3rd with his 33 pts just one behind Pammi Channa. However Steve Watson playing off 2 less than his club handicap scored 37 for his sixth win in the event.
