55th Golf Day held on 18th Sept 2014

On this occasion, we played the main event in the afternoon at Banstead Downs. Just 4 players made it past 29 points. Colin Fish was just out of the prizes. He started 4pts, 3pts, 3pts but 5 blobs left him on 30. One ahead was Peter Miles, he had the best inward nine of 20 on his card. Peter Chance was in a battle in the last group. He led at the halfway mark on 19 and crucial blobs at 14 and 15 gave him a final score of 32. The other battler was John Fish who trailed by 1 with four to go. John finished 3pts, 3pts, 1pt, 3pts for a Trophy winning 36 pts and his third overall.
