Event 85 - Dec 2014 - Purley Downs
16th Winter Event held on 31/12/2014
Thankfully the weather held for us at Purley, although the early frost made it pretty difficult and scoring was the lowest ever. There were four home players from our field of nine. In total we racked up 43 blobs. Our top three all had two blobs apiece with David England and Peter Chance both scoring 28. David made five pars with Peter three. Steve Watson made six pars and maintained an amazing record in this event. He notched up his third win on the spin, this time with a record low of 29. That’s also seven all told from the sixteen events.
