Event 88 - Dec 2015 - Purley Downs
17th Winter Event held on 30/12/2015
Almost the same field as the previous year, we had eight for our Winter event. Scoring was low in the very difficult conditions. As it turned out 24 points would only be 4 shy of the lead. A three ways tie saw Peter Hopkins, Peter Chance and Richard Walsh just outside the top 3. Between them failed to score 12 times. Pammi Channa in 3rd scored 25 with 4 blobs 4 pars and a birdie. David England scored 27 with five pars and a birdie but with five blobs. And the winner scored one more on 28. With five pars and a birdie and just the one blob, Steve Watson made it four wins in succession.
