We were blessed with fine weather with our revised format now of just one round. As it turned out the top 2 were 4 or 5 shots ahead of the chasing pack. Reaching 30 points was John Fish who had a superb 20 points going out including a blob but failed to score on three holes coming in. On 31 was Peter Hopkins who scored on every hole and won the blobs pot. Runner up was Colin Fish playing in his 50th comp and seeking his 4th win in the event, he got a 2 for 4 on the 3rd with 20 at the half way stage but a crucial blob on the 15th would leave him just shy. And so to our winner, and his first win in the event, with just one blob, 5 holes scoring 3 points and even splits of 18 for a score of 36, congratulations to Pammi Channa. David England won the Nearest the Pin at the 11th, Paul Jeanes won the Longest Drive at the 18th and Lee Gillam took the Blobs Trophy with 5 blobs
