Event 97 - Spring 2019 - Dale Hill

64th Golf Day held on 10th May 2019

We were moved to the Old course for this event as the Woosnam course was suffering with leatherjackets. We had a good day although we had a foggy start but eventually the weather improved and the course was very enjoyable. Half the field scored in the 30s. Yasin Lilani managed 30 with 2 blobs, Steve Watson got 31 with an outward 17 and also with 2 blobs. Matt Fish was another on 31 he also got 2 blobs and an inward nine of 17. Lee Gillam was third on 33 just the one blob and being pipped on the countback with his 17. John Fish finished as runner up with a better back 9 of 18, also with 2 blobs for a score of 33.
